Ingredients:
2 potatoes

250gms palak
1 big onion
2 green chillies
2 red chillies
1 sp mustard seeds
2 sps jeera
1 sp dhaniya
4 pods garlic
1 pinch turmeric
3 pinches salt
1/4 sp chilly powder
4 sps sunflower oil
Method:
- Seperate palak leaves and blanch them in warm water for 5mins.
- Peel the skin of aloo,cut them into cubes and cook them till soft.
- Take a sauce pan and heat oil in it.In hot oil,put mustard seeds and wait till they splutter.
- Reduce the heat.Now add jeera,crushed dhaniya,slit green chillies,crushed red chillies,turmeric,finely chopped garlic and saute them for2mins.
- Add thin,long sliced onions and fry till transparent.Sprinkle chillypowder and salt.Mix well.
- Drain cooked aloo and put them in the pan.fry for 2mins.
- Now add drained and chopped palak to this pan and close the lid for 5-7 mins on low flame.
- Good side dish with roti.Curds when added to this tastes delicious.
- You can also add a spoon of lemon juice if looking for a tangy taste.
