Baby Okra curry/Bendi fry

Baby Okra curry/Bendi fry:
Favourite dish of our family
Preparation time-25 mins
Serves- 2
Ingredients:

bendi-500g
onion-1 medium sized
jeera -1/2 tspn
urad dal-1tbspn
chanadal(split)-1tbspn
dhaniya -1tbspn
red chillies-4 or 5
salt-for taste
tamarind-1 tbspn
garlic-4 pods
oil-100ml
Procedure:
  1. Heat oil in a saucepan and add sliced bendi.
  2. Allow them to fry on sim until the rawness disappears.
  3. Then fry it for another 15min till the okra changes to brownish green.
  4. On the other hand heat oil in a saucepan and add urad dal,chana dal,red chillies,dhaniya and dry fry for 5min until they release the flavors and allow them to cool.
  5. Grind these dal and dhaniya by adding tamarind paste,garlic and salt to a powdery mix.
  6. Remove excess oil and add the mix to the curry.
  7. Tastes excellent with rice.
