Beans-Peanut gravy

Beans peanut gravy:
Preparation time-20 mins
serves-3
Ingredients:
2 cups chopped beans
1 cup deskinned peanuts
5 spns dhaniya
1 sp mustard seeds
1 sp jeera
1 onion( finely chopped)
4 red chillies
1 pinch turmeric
3 pinches salt
1/2 sp chilly powder
3 pods garlic
5 sps sunflower oil
Method:
  1. Cook chopped beans under pressure until 2whistles.
  2. Drain and keep them aside.
  3. Meanwhile fry peanuts and dhaniya in 2sps oil until light brown and allow them to cool in a plate.
  4. In the same pan take remaining oil after sufficient heat,allow mustard seeds to splutter.
  5. Then add jeera,crushed red chillies,garlic and onion.Fry for a min.
  6. On low flame,put cooked beans in the same pan and fry for a min.Sprinkle turmeric and chilly powder.
  7. Now grind peanuts and dhaniya into a thick paste adding 3 sps of water and salt.
  8. Add this paste to the pan and mix gently with beans and onions.
  9. If needed you can add few spoons of water as per your wish of gravy thickness.
  10. Switch off the heat.Close it with a lid.Still on hob wait for 2-3mins as beans catches the flavor of peanut sauce.Tastes excellent with roti and naan.
