Coconut chutney

Coconut chutney:
Preparation time-15mins
Ingredients:
1 coconut
3 green chillies
2 red chillies
1 sp mustard seeds
1 sp urad dal
3 spns of tamarind paste
3-4 pinches salt
6-7 curry leaves
2 pods of garlic
3 spns sunflower oil
Method:
  1. Slit coconut and cut it into small pieces seperating it from the shell.
  2. Blend these in to a rough mix adding salt,green chillies,garlic and tamarind paste in a mixer.Keep it aside.
  3. Prepare seasoning with hot oil in a sauce pan.Splutter mustard seeds in it first.
  4. Then put ural dal,curry leaves.Crush red chillies and add to the pan.
  5. Switch off the heat and add the blended coconut to the pan.
  6. Mix it evenly and wait for a min closing the lid.
  7. Its ready to taste now.Excellent dip for dosa and idly.
