Kheer Cone

Kheer cone:
Preparation time-1 hr
Serves-6
Ingredients:
6 cones
3 chocolates sliced
1 cup of dry fruits
1 cup rice(uncooked)
4 cups milk
150 gms sugar
2 sps vanilla essence
Method:
  1. Boil milk on low flame,till it becomes thick and reduces to 3cups.
  2. Now put rice in it and allow to cook.Make into a paste like consistency.I prefer soaking rice in hot water for 5-10mins and drain it before cooking in milk,as it cooks easily if soaked.
  3. Add sugar to it and mix it properly.
  4. Add vanilla essence.Mix it.Close it with a lid for 5more mins.
  5. slice the chocolate and chop nuts.Add these to the cooked rice paste.Mix it even.
  6. Allow this to cool for sometime in a wide bowl.
  7. After getting into room temperature...fill this slowly in biscuit cones.
  8. Keep it in freezer for 30mins.Thats it!
  9. It tastes good when chilled.
  10. Children likes it much as it duplicates icecream.Try and see...
