Tomato chutney

Tomato chutney:
Preparation time-10mins
Serves-5/7
Ingredients:
Tomatoes-8
Onions-1(big)
tamarind paste-3tbspns
jeera-1tspn
green chillies-6
coriander
mustard seeds-1tpsn
red chillies-4
sunflower oil-3tbspns
urad dal-2tspns
Fenugreek seeds-hlf tspn

salt-as required
chilly powder-1pinch

Procedure:
1.Heat oil in a saucepan and add jeera,green chillies(slit),onion(sliced)and fry for 4-5min till onions turn golden brown then keep this aside in a bowl.
2.In the same pan add tomatoes(sliced) and fry it for 5min.
3.Add tamarind paste,salt and all the above contents and grind into a paste.
4.Heat oil in a saucepan and add mustard seeds,redchillies,fenugreek seeds,urad dal and allow them to splutter and add it to the mix.
5.garnish with coriander.

Option : you can also add raw onion and garlic instead of frying.
